Rockhampton’s youth teams have won 3 from 3 this week, as they continue their encouraging start to the season.

The U11s won by 6 wickets chasing 64 at Bradley Stoke. Captain Harri Young with 15 at the top of the order, 11 for opener Eddie Holden and 13* from Preston Bloodworth.

The U13s enjoyed a fine 78 run win against Bradley Stoke. The Rams posted 135/3 before restricting the visitors to 57/8. Louis Warren 36*, Sam Digby 25 and Finley Sherred-Isles 23. Wickets for Holden, Bloodworth, Furness, Clarke, Sherred-Isles, Digby and Dulake.

The U13s then had an exciting 1 wicket win versus Hawksbury Upton, chasing 107 to win. Huke and Furness picked up a wicket each before opener Leo Bloodworth’s unbeaten 32 steered the Rams to victory alongside captain Louis Warren. Wicketkeeper Olly Young (16) also impressing with the bat.
